Based out of Methven in the Canterbury area of the Southern Alps, our guides are locals with years of club field experience. We work with the club field staff to find you the best and safest backcountry conditions. Experience terrain most would never find or think possible.

Avalanche is the greatest hazard facing 'out of bounds' backcountry skiers and boarders. The knowledge gained from our avalanche courses will significantly improve your safety margins. These courses are taught by a core staff of senior certified guides and professional avalanche forecasters, and are essential if you are wanting to experience all the backcountry has to offer both in New Zealand and overseas.
